An

EDI Developer is needed for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Nashville, TN. The primary purpose for this analyst role is to manage all EDI related endeavors at client. This position will work closely with the IT Project Manager, business stakeholders, and the Software Development Director.

Ideally someone local who is willing to be on a hybrid schedule.

Job requirements:

  • Support the existing EDI infrastructure, including but not limited to creating and mapping EDI transactions
  • Troubleshoot and provide appropriate solutions for issues related to production
  • Create and modify any EDI specification documents
  • Work closely with client vendors and distributors for EDI onboarding, modifications, and enhancements
  • Create documentation for future reference, training and support purposes
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least Associate's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with EDI infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience with the following 4010 EDI types (810, 820, 850, 855, 856, 845, 849, 852, any 900 series)
  • Comprehensive experience creating EDI specifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong scripting experience (e.g. Powershell, VB scriptetc)
  • Intermediate experience with XML
  • Moderate experience with SQL Server Management Studio

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Integration management experience with Jitterbit
  • Experience with C#
